A medium-dry sparkling honey wine with a light, crisp finish.
Here in Mereworth, or Marourde to use its historical name, the wild flora and fauna inspire us. With a handful of botanicals and a healthy passion for winemaking, we set about refreshing the world’s oldest drink. Our lightly alcoholic wine is a delicate blend of honey and cool Kentish water, all gently fermented with a pinch of champagne yeast. With oak barrels and whole flower infusions we then slowly steep it to further enhance the flavour. The result is a modern mead, nine thousand years in the making.
MAROURDE Spritz is medium-dry and bursts with citrus, honey flavours, complimented by woody undertones, with a bright, crisp finish.
