Smoked Pulled Pork Chakalaka

Chakalaka is an oh-so-delicious traditional South African relish, big on flavour & super versatile. Chef Petrus’s mildly spiced version is prepared lovingly, with the added bonus of slow cooked smoked pulled pork. It can be enjoyed as a side for braais, salads or mains, a topping on burgers, jacket potatoes, or served on toast with eggs for breakfast or brunch.
Method of preparation: Transfer chakalaka into a sauce pan over medium heat & stir occasionally for 5 – 10 minutes until hot.
